Mark 1:17. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God is not a mocker of people; He is a Maker of people. Our God is not a mocker of people; He is a Maker of people. In the beginning, God made man in His Image (Genesis 1:26). And today, He has not stopped making people. No wonder Jesus called the early apostles to make them. Mark 1:17 says, And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. The implication of this is: every invitation by God is an invitation unto a making. God invites us to make us better than how He met us. God calls you to make you the envy of your generation.
